CapTrader is a representative company of Interactive Brokers in Germany. Traders have access to the stock exchanges of many countries, as all operations are carried out through Interactive Brokers.

Security

Clients’ funds are kept on separate accounts with Barclays Bank that are regularly audited by the experts.

CapTrader has the BaFin license for trading.

In addition, the broker is a member of the FSCS program. Thus, client’s funds are insured for up to £30,000 plus 90% of the additional £20,000.

Trading conditions

CapTrader offers more than 1.2 million types of securities and provides access to more than 100 international exchanges around the world. Only few dealer centers feature such conditions. Available assets: currencies, CFDs, and shares.

Spreads and commission

Traders should pay attention to the commission fees. All information is given on the website in details; the average fees starts from 4 euros. Spreads for EUR/USD start from 0.2 pip. We advise traders to look through commission fees before they start trading.

Leverage

Traders can use leverage of 1:40. This is not enough to make a big profit with a small investment.

Trading platform

CapTrader clients have access to the Trader Workstation platform. It is a full-featured platform that supports trading multiple assets, several types of orders, and offers many trading options. The platform also has a version for mobile devices.

Traders can also use the AgenaTrader software, which allows them to copy signals and strategies in few clicks even without any programming skills. In addition, clients can work with 2,000 charts and look through thousands of tools in real time. Traders can conduct semi-automated or fully automated trading.

The popular MetaTrader (4 and 5) platform is not supported.

Payment methods

CapTrader clients can deposit funds only using bank transfer. That is why, the broker set a rather high initial deposit of €2,000. In contrast, many brokers offer depositing via bank cards and electronic wallets.

One withdrawal within 30 days is free. Fees are charged for the following days.
